Hammond R-125 Rhythm II Organ

We found a nice looking 1970′s R-125 (Mediterranean) Hammond Organ for the house looking through Kijiji. It was up for 30 bucks but the lady was nice and said we could have it for free! The only problems were getting it home, repairing a key that was broken, and fixing a short in the bass pedals.

Well after a full day of loading and driving, we got it back home. Today I repaired the key by dismantling the top, removing the key, and then krazy gluing the plastic back together. This guide really helped alot.

I am still reading up on the bass pedal circuit, and giving it a nice polish right now. Thanks Sharie!

To reinstall:
Move Patched (120722) Bethesda Softworks folder into wine directory
Add MSVCP60.DLL from and old system32 directory
Run the game once at 1024×768 to create the registry entries
wine regedit – Local Machine / Software / Bethesda Softworks / Morrowind and set Screen Width to 1680, Screen Height to 1050
Run the game and start a new game then exit
Run the game and pick a save game to play
Alt tab and end pulseaudio (this gets past some problem pulseaudio is causing)
todo: edit key bindings

Picked up the Roland TD-9 Drums today and got to play a bit after Anna and Mommy. It is a TD-9k kit (mesh snare, rubber toms) which was a great decision (mesh toms were a thousand more dollars = really, buy the TD-9 brain, and upgrade the toms after. People on the V-Drums forums say this, and they are right.)

Other than that, a DW 5000 Accelerator (DW5000ad3) Single Bass drum pedal which is the most amazing pedal I have ever played, and two pairs of nice sticks. Vic firth 7a’s (for Anna) and 5a’s (for me). She loves drumming with the sticks and her meter is great (even on the Nar). Drum Drum Drum! now if Dad can catch up!

Had a fun time at the local driving range, hitting 3 Wood and Sand Wedge draws. After 3 buckets each we did some putting. Learned lots today. When we were heading there I realized I had lost my card for the driving range. Thanks to the guys at Fraserglen Golf Course. They were able to replace it on the spot, with the balance that was left on the old card. Good stuff!

Kaz dinged 80 this morning during the Gnomish Arcanus Magical Experience Of Norrath Event, we got a few players X’d but not so bad as it could have been. Brenie to Brennie, Tabatha to Tabbey, Myles to Myels, and Sense to Sensed. Game on!

Using Exact Audio Copy on the laptop to convert our old CD’s to mp3. Downloaded a binary of the LAME Mp3 encoder, and found a way to create directories for Artist/Album/Title. Working great! Just in case that last link ever stops working, it was
