Well the server went down last night for an Emergency Patch and came back up at 10am this morning. Our guys were already camped in Kael waiting on The Statue of Rallos Zek. We have only ever killed him, Idol, and Avatar once with old guildmates years ago, now some of the new twinks are eyeing up the old loot lists. Read a great post on his spawn time here. We are here looking for a Blade of Carnage, and whatever else they drop will be handed out among the troops. Mostly I just wanted to post to test out this Magelo Tooltip thing.

What is causing this old expansion slaughter? Walked into the Planes last week and beat down Jiva in Solusek Ro’s Tower for a Rune Etched Bamboo Bo, and Auliffe Chaoswind in Torden, Bastion of Thunder for a Great Staff of the Four Winds. I can definately see some Dragons going down in our future.

10am. Server up. checking in from time to time. AFK Message: Waiting for Statue to spawn.

Update: 6pm. It’s been 8 hours, and no pops yet. Lots of people checking though. I didn’t realize Velious was so popular still. I guess it is some of the best droppable twink gear. Nobody staying though, Kaz is clearing the Armor of Zek’s about once every half hour.

Update: 2am. 16 hours and 15 minutes, 4 Buffalo chicken strips, a bottle of Wild Turkey, 5 Brad Paisley albums, a six pack of Pilsners, a few shots of Stoli, and a pot of coffee later, and Statue has still not spawned yet!

Update: 3am. Statue finally spawns! Kaz takes him out and then rallies the troops out of bed and into the arena. A half an hour later, Idol and Avatar are down! Reaver, Swiftblade of Zek, Blade of Carnage, Flayed Barbarian Hide Mask, Ring of Destruction and War Bow of Rallos Zek. Time for bed!

• Previously this mission got bugged if you did to much DPS to the boss. It previously required you to stop damaging him exactly at 50% health. This no longer is the case and has since been fixed. You can now dps to you heart’s desire. His damage will stop at 50%. However there may be a timed wait from his first agro in order to hail the boss for the key. Either way, you can still get the needed key – just have to wait a bit if your group had high dps.

• Kill sebilisian messengers until you get a Sealed Message that mentions the mausuleum. Hand this to any of the dragons to get this task .

• “Sarnak Recovery”
• Kill sebilisian messengers until you get a Sealed Message mentioning Kurn, Sokokar or Burynai. Hand this to any dragon to receive this task.
• There are three different versions of “Sarnak Recovery” – one mentions Kurn, one mentions Sokokar, and one mentions Burynai.
• Completing one of the three “Sarnak Recovery” tasks as well as the Mausuleum is all you need in order to talk to Jaled`Dar – * some may have been required to continue with more “Sarnak Recovery” tasks due to their faction – however this is confirmed on two seperate characters that only 1 “Sarnak Recover” is required if you have ally faction.
• Burynai Reward: Iksar Left Upper Leg Bone

• You need to start killing all the corrupted scholars in the zone and clicking them with your crystal near 30% health until you receive an update. Then you will need to kill three beguilers and a named to complete.

• Kill 15 Dragonbane warriors, located on third floor in Barracks.

• Kill 5 Korascian Champions and The Prime Korascian himself.

Old Bloodfields:

• Revolves around the faction, Herald Argoth.

• Note: You must complete both the Kuua and Discord (listed below) themes to access Void F.

• In Old Bloodfields, General Vurig the Imposing offers a group task, Holding the Fort.
• Make sure to hand the bracer in immediately, invis and zone in. If you don’t, the NPCs you are supposed to protect will be dead already. Just keep the general alive.
• Receive Timeshear Blue Fragment Beza.

• In the City of Dranik, Yamall the Arcane (at indifferent/amiable faction) offers the group task Studying the Portal.
• Head to the Precipice of War in Old Bloodfields, where he wants you to capture two of each creature. Three people must click the items he provided at the same time around 30% health. After you capture the last one you will be jumped by four mobs (mezzable).
• Receive Timeshear Blue Fragment Azia.

Korafax, Lair of the Riders (Discord) (access to Void F):

• A Disheveled Human:

• Group Task: “Kill the Mindshear Attendants“
• Kill 20 mindshear attendants (be sure to pick up some slimes for later tasks).
• Reward: Anarchy Crystal Section
• Group Task: “Kill the Corporifers“
• Kill 8 vitriks (be sure to loot an Essence Sieve, Bloodbind Potion and an Empty Vial for later tasks).
• Reward: Anarchy Crystal Segment

• Loot a Bloody Note to get the first update. Then deliver A Discordling Blood, Bloodbind Potion and a Mindshear Slime to Disheveled Human. All but the note are pre-lootable.

Well here we are @Point no Point for our one year anniversary and we have the Anna with us. She loves the Hot Tub, and we had our first fire in the fireplace, and she couldn’t stop looking at it. Just having breakfast now, and then headed down to the beach to make some sand castles. This is good times!

So, the other night two brake lines started leaking at the same time. Cor was driving home from rehearsal. I ended meeting her with the Jetta and driving the truck from Sardis to Greendale without brakes. I find it hard to believe that two spots would start leaking at the same time. I was worried it was either tampering, or the remaining two are soon to follow. When we dropped it off at a local garage, we left a note attached to the key that instructed them to phone us, but they didn’t, and instead just replaced two of the lines and found a tie rod to replace to make it an even 500 bucks (again). I guess they just do whatever they want. Guess what, so do we.

Well after a few days of work, the spot next to our house is turning into a nice little patio.

We had to shovel out all the old grass, tiger saw out a bunch of old roots, and dig and rake it level. Right now we are putting in the rock and then we will gravel once the beds are all contained.

The flowerbeds will mostly contain Catnip and Catgrass for the Nar :)

Well ok, here goes. I’m going back to school and I’ve started this new blog so I can have a place to dump all the things I’ve learned this year. Things I don’t (or do) want to forget, study guides, exam scores, links etc… Since the brain can only store so much information, I figured I am going to need somewhere for the rest of it to go!

Classes start on September 5th, and I have a lot of reading to do by then. Also on the agenda is Physics and Algebra review, as well as basic composition and grammar and sentences cause you know sometimes I write alot cause that’s just the way it comes out and Instructors aren’t going to mark you by the length of those sentences and after so long of being out of school omg I have learned a lot of bad habits and prolly will need 2 look over the way it’s sposed to be done?

For reals… this is a journey. I’m sailing away… No wait. Scratch that. Anyways, see you soon :) –J

What a week it’s been so far. What I am going to try to do is run down all of the things we talk about in the class, and review it by putting it into the blog. Sometimes things will be very structured and on topic, and sometimes someone asks a weird question and off we go.

We will be spending the year as follows.

1. Fundamentals – AC/DC

2. Discrete Semiconductors

3. Linear Electronics

4. Digital Electronics

5. Microprocessors / Microcontrollers – On this section, my Instructor explained we may spend a bit more study time on Microcontrollers, since they are getting used for a lot of applications lately.

At the end of the year, depending on how much time is remaining, we will take some time looking into specialty stuff, such as A+ (took it, certified already), Network+ (Yes! bring it on!), Home automation, and automotive applications of electronics.

If we keep moving at the pace that has been set, I doubt very much that I will have time to go back and organize these pages, but hey you never know. Either way, take it for what it is. Some scribbly notes. Laters!
