Had a fun time at the local driving range, hitting 3 Wood and Sand Wedge draws. After 3 buckets each we did some putting. Learned lots today. When we were heading there I realized I had lost my card for the driving range. Thanks to the guys at Fraserglen Golf Course. They were able to replace it on the spot, with the balance that was left on the old card. Good stuff!

Went to Kinkora in Sardis yesterday, It was nice and sunny, and we got our moneys worth by taking a lot of extra swings at the ball :p Oh well, was fun still.
Yesterday. Didn’t go warm up at the driving range first (bad), and ended up shooting a few 5′s to start. 2nd hole I wailed a shot right next to the 3rd tee and felt quite stupid about it. After that drive, I pinged the pin with my chip shot. Yay. But it didn’t go in. No biggie. After that we did the right thing, swilled a few beers and shot straight and putted smooth :) I shot a 71 and Cor shot a 93 (par 55). Getting better!
There was a Ladies foursome in front on us, and an eager Tournament behind. Around the 15th, I putted a good 20 footer, and the next hole, they had a Mens closest to the pin marker, and Cor drove it onto the green a few feet away (~160 yards.)
Took a few pics on the “hardest hole of the course” or so they say. Actually I got my 6 on this one, I’d have to agree. Today.
Long course compared to what I’m used to, lots of 500~’s. Nice Driving and long iron game, decent chips, and bad putting :P had a headache the back 9 (too many beers?).
51 front, 56 back. 107 on a par 72 I think. Well it was fun.
We had a great day out at the Aquadel Golf Course near Cultus Lake. I shot a 78 and Cor shot a 92. It was a par 55. I know, not that great of scores, but you had to be there. We had some beautiful shots, and the only thing that could have used work was the putting. I played the whole game like an old timer, rather end up a bit short than chip past the green, and everything went sweet. Good times.
